The belt buckle shows the number, "2," and a hat badge shows the number, "38." The name of the photographic studio is printed in gold-colored ink on the bottom of the photo: "Earle, 253 Woodward Ave. and 55 Rowland St., Detroit." Handwriting on the verso shows "#15."
