- The Thoman Flour Mill looking south on North Grand Avenue toward Ottawa Street. The mill, which operated for nearly a century at this location, was razed in 1957 for parking.

- "Mr. Rex Gillen (center) instructing student operators at West Junior High School, 1958. A. V. coordinators in the secondary schools used student clubs to assist them in carrying on the A. V. programs. The pupils were valuable in setting up projectors and assisting teachers with projection and at the same time they learned responsibility and citizenship traits."

- Description:
- Ford Ceasar was a teacher and school administrator for nearly 35 years and was involved in the Historical Society of Greater Lansing, the Historical Society of Michigan, and other historical organizations. This collection is primarily concerned with Ceasar's publications, so several boxes are devoted to notes, research, the Ingham County Historical Commission, which hired Ceasar to write "The Bicentennial History of Ingham County." The other notable parts of this collection are the Michigan and Lansing photograph series (boxes 11 and 12) which contain rare and important photographs of the Lansing area, as well as surrounding communities. There is one box of loose oversize material as well.
