- "A conservation workshop was held in the fall of 1947 at the Conservation Camp at Higgins Lake. Front row left is Mr. Dalrymple, Audio-Visual Director and Dr. Thorne, Assistant Superintendent. Misses Georgia Sloat and Margaret Knapp, elementary school principals, stand directly behind them. Dr. Rich, Superintendent, stands in front of door at right rear. 'Pat' Feeman, principal of Walter French Junior High School, head higher than the rest to the right. The four men standing from right toward the left are Dave Schulert who became Director of Science, William Potter, teacher at Eastern High School, Mr. William Roberts, teacher at West Junior, and Raymond Abbott, veteran teacher at Pattengill Junior High School."

- Description:
- Ford Ceasar was a teacher and school administrator for nearly 35 years and was involved in the Historical Society of Greater Lansing, the Historical Society of Michigan, and other historical organizations. This collection is primarily concerned with Ceasar's publications, so several boxes are devoted to notes, research, the Ingham County Historical Commission, which hired Ceasar to write "The Bicentennial History of Ingham County." The other notable parts of this collection are the Michigan and Lansing photograph series (boxes 11 and 12) which contain rare and important photographs of the Lansing area, as well as surrounding communities. There is one box of loose oversize material as well.
