The lithograph shows a painting of the Parke-Davis campus (now River Place), at the foot of Joseph Campau Street along the Detroit River with a view to the southeast. Several boats are docked in the foreground of the image, and pedestrians and horse drawn carriages are shown along the perimeter of the Parke-Davis facilities. A circular logo on the bottom left indicates that the lithograph was printed by The Winters Art Litho. Co. of Chicago.
