The view is facing southwestward and shows a group of 11 workmen who have posed for the photo and are standing on top of caisson #4 or on the adjacent railroad tracks. Several factory buildings can be seen in the left background and a small portion of the Rouge River can be seen in the right background. The top of the old railroad bridge is visible near the center of the photo. Handwritten text on the verso shows "Supt. Hedrich (white hat)" and "Missouri Bridge & Iron Co., contractors; Mr. O'Conner, chief engineer."

- Photograph. Sepia-toned photo showing the temporary concrete mixing plant for the construction of a railroad bridge over the Rouge River. Printed text in the upper left corner of the photo shows the number, "12," and additional text in top center area shows "M.C.R.R. River Rouge Bascule Bridge; Foundations; June 4, 1919; Mixing Plant." The view shows the aggregate hopper being loaded by a construction crane and bucket that can be seen at the left side of the photo. Two workmen are standing near the concrete mixer on the right side of the plant. The concrete mixer is positioned in order to pour the finished mixture into a second construction crane bucket that will carry the concrete to its placement location. Railroad tracks, temporary construction buildings, and piles of construction materials can be seen in the center area of the photo. Factory buildings and houses can be seen in the right background. A temporary construction building near the center of the photo has two signs on the roof. The text is not quite legible, but the sign on the left shows "[?] Foundations [?] Missouri Bridge & Iron Co. [?]" and the sign on the right shows "[?] Superstructure [?] Wisconsin Bridge & Iron Co. [?]."

- Photograph (and 1 copy). Sepia-toned photo showing a large group of workmen at Camp Geddes. The view shows a group of more than 50 workmen who are standing or seated in front of a 1-story wood frame building. A printed title along the bottom of the photo shows "Camp Geddes - Mess Hall and the Workers" with the number and the date, "M-4782, 9-18-16." Possibly, this photo was taken near the Geddes hydroelectric power plant on the Huron River near Ann Arbor. Detroit Edison began purchasing water rights and property for dam construction on the Huron River in 1905.

Sepia-toned photo showing six workers in the Station A dynamo room of the Edison Illuminating Company which was located at the southeast corner of Washington Avenue (now Boulevard) and State Street. The view shows the workmen who are seated on or standing beside two of the belt-driven dynamos that were located on the upper floor of the building. The dynamos were driven by steam engines that were located below on the ground floor. A small, oval-shaped stamp in the lower left corner of the photo shows "The Detroit Edison Company." Handwritten text on the verso shows "Dynamo Room of Edison Illuminating Co., Detroit, Mich., 1903. Lower Row (L to R): G. E. Harrison, Walter Orr, Charles Benstein. Upper Row (L to R): Aloysius J. Steel sheet piling as well as heavy timber pilings and cross-members are visible in the foreground. The ground is lightly covered with snow and small chunks of ice can be seen on the river.

- Digital scan of a sepia-toned photo taken close to ground level of the foot of the Sandwich Street (now Riverside Drive) bridge over the Canadian Pacific Railway lines near Windsor's riverfront. A pile of gravel evens out the seam between the road and the bridge. A caption printed along the bottom left reads, "395, Settlement of Sandwich St. Bridge, Sta. 187, 11/18/07."
