- Black and white postcard depicting an assembly line in the Ford River Rouge factory. Printed on verso: AN ASSEMBLY LINE OF THE FORD MOTOR COMPANY. The assembly line is always a point of interest to visitors of the Rouge Plant. Here, on a moving conveyor, Ford cars are completely assembled, from chassis to finished car, and driven off the line under their own power. Is America's largest building devoted exclusively to the manufacture of cigars, it accommodates 2,000 employees, and in it are manufactured 2,000,000 cigars per week. This view shows a portion of one of the sheds used for the storage of dimension stock. There are four of these sheds, with a combined capacity of 4,484,260 feet of lumber.
