- Color postcard depicting the well in Palmer Park, with a sign above reading, "Visitors are Requested Not to Pick Flowers or Big Ferns. T.W. Palmer" and the Lake in the background. Printed on verso: Rustic Drinking Well, Palmer Park. This land was donated to the City by Ex-Senator Thomas W. Palmer, in 1893, and is situated north of the city at the extreme terminal of the Woodward Ave. car line; is one of the city's favorite breathing spots. Its center piece is a log cabin, which is an exact reproduction of the home in which Senator Palmer resided when Detroit was little more than a trading post. - Color postcard depicting an illustration of the Cadillaqua Water Fete-Carnival, with gondolas and other boats in the Detroit River, and fireworks and an airship in the background. Printed on verso: Cadillaqua will be the biggest carnival ever attempted in America. It will be held annually in Detroit during the fourth week of each July. The first Cadillaqua will cost $500,000 and will celebrate the 211th anniversary of the founding of the city. It will be a land and water fete. The nation is invited to it. Four Days and Five Nights. - Color postcard depicting the Detroit approach to the Michigan Central Railway Tunnel, with a truss bridge and buildings in the background. Trains are on the tunnel tracks and alongside. Two signs read "Richard L. Aylward Coal & Coke". Printed on verso: The Detroit River Tunnel has the unique distinction of being the only tunnel of its type ever built. It was constructed in sections, all work being done from the surface of the water without the use of compressed air. The Tunnel is operated electronically. Construction was started October 1, 1906, and completed July 1, 1910. The length from portal to portal is 1 3/8 miles, and from summit of grade 2 ½ miles. It was built by the Detroit River Tunnel Company for the M. C. R. R. at a cost of $8,500,000. Handwritten message on verso, postmarked Dec, 1910.
