- Shatila originally opened in 1979 in a small shop on Warren. It has grown into one of the most popular Middle Eastern bakeries in Dearborn. The store has moved locations several times. This photograph is from the Schaefer address, where it operated from 1984-2004.

- Part of a series of interviews in the Arab American community completed by Dr. Alixa Naff in 1962., Original container list states that the tape contains a single interview with Malaki B.. However, this interview does not start until 00:25:25. Previous to that point, the tape contains various recordings, including what sounds like a radio show and notes Dr. Naff made to herself., and Interview was originally completed on a reel-to-reel tape and was digitized in 2016 through a collaboration between the Smithsonian Institution and the Arab American National Museum.
