- One architectural drawing entitled "Front Elevation." The drawing (Job 240) consists of red and black ink on linen and shows a front elevation view and wall cross-section detail for a proposed 2-story, 4-family apartment building. This drawing, shown at a scale of 1/4 inch = 1 foot, was part of a set of eight sheets that were prepared by "J. Lawson Miller, Architect," for "Mr. F. [Frederick] Schindler, Owner, Detroit, Michigan." Some blue, green, and yellow pencil shading has been added on the verso to highlight various architectural details. The building was located on 14th Street between Pine and Perry Streets in Detroit.

This drawing, shown at a scale of 1/4 inch = 1 foot, was part of a set of five sheets that were prepared by "J. Lawson Miller, Architect." The specifications (Job 265, Set No. 3) are bound in a booklet that has three brass fasteners at the top. The cover is made of heavy tan paper and includes typewritten text for the title. Printed text beneath the title shows the name, "J. Lawson Miller, Architect." The cover interior and outside back cover have printed advertisements for many contractors, tradesmen, and building materials suppliers. The booklet contains 61 pages of typewritten text that give brief descriptions of all of the materials and construction requirements for the project. An index is shown on the first page.
