Dated February 3rd 1886. Printed by the Calvert Lith. Co. Detroit. The certificate features full color illustrations showing soldiers sitting, standing, and marching at an encampment.

- One tax receipt, dated July 12, 1867, issued by the Receiver's Office in Detroit. It was printed in black text on white paper and indicated that Richmond & Backus Company paid $264.63 for various city taxes on "Personal Property, Jeff. Ave. North." The receipt, No. 37, was signed by "T.R. Cumings, Receiver of Taxes."

- Bank note No. 788 from "The Detroit City Bank" for $5.00 and dated December 20, 1837. The note is printed in black ink on thin linen paper and shows the Roman numeral, "V," in all four corners. An engraved view of the Detroit shoreline is shown at the top of the note. The note is signed "F. H. Harris, Cashier," on the lower left edge and is signed "H. M. Campbell, President," on the lower right edge. The reverse is blank except for handwritten text that shows, "Presented to Emma S. Hampton, President Fairbanks Corps No. 17. December 1884 by James W. Romeyn."

- Contract between Finzel's Orchestra and the Ashley and Dustin Steamer Line for the services of eight musicians aboard the excursion steamer PUT-IN-BAY during the 1914 season, dated March 1st. The contract is in black printed ink on yellowed paper and has been filled in by typewriter. It stipulates a payment of $178 per week, and includes the note "Less $20.00 per week for two meals per day." The contract is signed by Edward A. Dustin. "Please sign and return this duplicate," is printed in the bottom left corner and a dotted black line at top suggests it was a piece of a larger perforated sheet of paper.

- Deed, signed by President James Madison, and Secretary of State James Monroe granting land to Solomon Sibley, bearing the Great Seal of the United States, embossed in white: James Madison, President of the United States of America To all to whom these presents shall come, greetings: Know ye, that Solomon Sibley, afsignee of Amable Bellair having lodged in the Treasury, a certificate of the register of the Land-office at Detroit, whereby it appears that the said Solomon Sibley, as afsignee of Amable Bellair is confirmed by the virtue of an act of Congress, entitled "An act regulating the grants of land in the territory of Michigan," in his claim to a certain tract of land, containing two hundred and fifty eight, 55/100 acres, situate on the border of River Raisins [sic] bounded and describes as follows, to wit: Beginning at a post standing on the border of River Raisins, between this tract and a tract confirmed to Richard Pattison; thence north nineteen degrees, east, two hundred and ninety four chains twenty two links; thence south seventy one degrees east, eight chains, seventy three links to a post; thence south nineteen degrees west, two hundred and ninety eight chains, eleven links to a post standing on the border of river Raisins, between this tract and a tract confirmed to Gabriel Godfroy, thence along the border of said river, up stream, north forty seven degrees west, nine chains fifty six links to the place of beginning. There is granted by the United States, unto the said Solomon Sibley the tract or parcel of land above described; to have and to hold the said tract or parcel of land, with the appurtenances, unto the said Solomon Sibley, his heirs and assigns forever. In testimony whereof, I have caused these Letters to be made Patent, and the Seal of the United States to be hereunto affixed. Give under my hand at the city of Washington, the twenty fourth day of July in the year of our Lord one thousand eight hundred and eleven and of the Independence of the United States of America, the thirty-fifth.
