1. Full length, black silk broadcloth dress from the early twentieth century

Description:
Woman's full length, black silk broadcloth dress with smocking around the waist and the neckline. The interior is not boned or lined, and has two narrow cords that connect the neck and waist. It has short leg-o-mutton sleeves, and a back button closure. Label: Liberty & Co. Ltd., 38 Ave. de l'Opera, Paris.

2. Wool Coat with Metallic Accent, Lined in Red Crepe, 1924

Description:
Coat of black wool lined in red crepe. Trim on coat consists of edging of gold metallic braid and gilded leather. The side closure is accented with leather fringe terminating from button. Accent includes black wool with raised stitiching on gored skirt, sleeves and body of coat. This garment was owned by Matilda Dodge Wilson (October 19, 1883 – September 19, 1967),who was the wife of John Francis Dodge (October 25, 1864 – January 14, 1920), co-founder of the Dodge Motor Car Company in Detroit, Michigan.

3. Women's cloak of striped wool from the nineteenth century

Description:
This woman's cloak is made of a striped wool (red, blue and brown on tan). It has a pointed yoke and standing collar of brown velvet, and self fabric buttons down its front. The back is fitted with very low bustle, and the pleated front hides the arm slits. Unlined. It was described in the original accession records as a traveling cloak. The cloak was worn by Annie Caskey Turner (Mrs. Samuel) of Detroit. Label: Compagnie Russe, 26 Chausse D'Antin and Blvd. Hausseman 23.
