The sketch, done in black lines on tan paper, shows the facade of the mansion house described, including the doorway, four ground level windows, three second story windows with balconies, and a portion of a side entrance to the right. The house was designed by Otis & Brown Architects, Buffalo, N.Y. Handwritten text on the bottom right reads "sketch made sometime between 1842 and 1852. built in [piece missing]." Mounted on linen.
