- This Sideboard, in the collection of The Henry Ford, consists of a dark wood veneered front, top, and sides. Four wood knobs are attached across the top front edge as well as four doors with brass door pulls. Inside the doors are eight drawers and two shelves with storage trays lined in velvet for silverware. The base consists of leather cloth wrapped around the legs and secured with brass tacks.

- This Desk, in the collection of The Henry Ford, is constructed of a medium tone veneer on the front, back, sides and top and has an American walnut finish. The pretzel pedestal base is made of two legs that are covered with black leatherette. On the dexter side of the front is a file drawer and pull out work surface. The center contains three pencil drawers while the sinister side has three drawers and a pull out work surface. The drawer pulls are circular metal. Work surfaces can pull out from the back sinister and the dexter sides as well.

- The seat and back pads of this modular seating, in the collection of The Henry Ford, are a heat sealed sandwich of black Naugahyde, vinyl foam and Fibrethin that are stretched within a chrome frame. The pads are held between polished aluminum casting and each have two black molded urethane arms on each to complete the seat. Between the seats is a rectangular center table made of white plastic laminate and black vinyl edging. All of this sits on a chrome base with black metal crossbar.
This piece was part of a series called the Eames Tandem Seating System. The Eames Tandem Seating was designed prim ally for use in public places, such as airports. This particular piece was designed originally for Dulles Airport, Washington, D. C. It was available in single rows of two to ten seats per row, and in double rows (back-to-back) of ten to twenty seats per unit. [Source: 1963 Herman Miller Trade Catalog]
