- Photograph (and 1 copy). Black and white photo showing a view of the Delray Power House construction site. The view is from the Detroit River and shows a wooden sailing scow, the "Loura of Detroit," that is laid up for the winter at the shoreline. Booms, sails, and running rigging have all been removed for the winter. One anchor line can be seen off the transom of the vessel and another anchor line can be seen running along the ground surface from the bow to an anchor that is embedded in the earth. One anchor fluke can be seen above the ground surface. In the background, the structural steel framework of the power plant building is visible. The photo shows a frosty haze in the air. Also, the ground and trees are lightly covered with snow and there is ice on the river. The number, "M90," is written in reverse in the lower left corner of the photo. Handwritten text on the verso shows "M90, Taken 1903, Start of construction, Delray Power House #1."

- Black and white photo of the exterior of the Detroit Edison Company office on the southeast corner of Washington Boulevard and State Street, as taken from an elevated position to the northwest. A large flag is flown from the building's roof. An Albert A. Albrecht Company, Builders sign is posted on a construction canopy over the sidewalk along the office's State Street face. Signs for shoe repair and jewelry stores are posted on the Sun Building, beside Detroit Edison along State. The edge of the Cadillac Hotel, to the south of Detroit Edison along Washington, is visible along the right edge of frame. Cars, pedestrians, and streetcar rails are visible in the streets below. "General Office - Detroit Edison War Flag Raising," and "M-5237 4-6-17." are printed along the bottom edge of the image.

- Photograph. Black and white photo entitled "17 Employees of the Edison Illuminating Co., Detroit, Michigan. March, 1893." The photo shows 17 men who are dressed in work attire and are seated or standing outdoors. A brick building with three large windows can be seen in the background (probably the Edison Illuminating Company building on Washington Boulevard at State Street). The names of the employees are noted along the bottom of the photo as follows: "Left to right: Top Row: John A. Ash, Thomas J. Blackley, Walter J. Colladay, James W. Bishop, 'Sandy' Sharp, Henry Ford, John Dixon, Patrick Cunningham. Center Row: H. Ward Noble, George W. Cato. Bottom Row: James Sullivan, J. Eugene Lee, Wright B. Thompson, Frank T. Mather, John W. McNamara, George A Crawford, Burt Pettit." Several names are marked with an asterisk to indicate that they are deceased. A typewritten label on the verso shows "No. 68849. Those known to be living today (4/24/41) are: Colladay, bishop, Sharp, Ford, Cato, Thompson, and Mather. Those known to be dead are: Ash, Blackley, Dixon, Cunningham, Sullivan, Noble, Lee, McNamara, Crawford, and Pettit." - Photograph. Sepia-toned photo showing the aftermath of an ice storm. The view shows two steel lattice transmission line towers with tops that have collapsed and are hanging on the sides of the towers. The ground and nearby trees are covered with ice. A farmhouse and barn can be seen in the background. A note along the top edge of the photo shows "Along State Road South of Linwood, 3-1-22." A handwritten note and letters along the bottom edge show "C, D, E, F; On curve, Looking South." Possibly, this photo was taken somewhere in the vicinity of Grand River Avenue and Linwood Street.

This softcover booklet is 45 pages long and provides an illustrated history of the company as well as information about company power plants, service territory, and earnings. The outside cover is light brown with the title shown in gold text in a decorative dark green rectangle. The inside pages are printed in black text with black and white photos. A fold-out color map of the company service territory is attached to the inside back cover.

- Photograph. Sepia-toned photo of a halftone image that is entitled, "Engine and Dynamo Room." The image shows an interior view of a 2-story power plant building which has two rows of belt-driven dynamos (left) that are being powered by a single row of steam engines (right). Handwritten text on the verso shows "Engine and Dynamo Room, Brush Electric, 1903." This power plant building may be the Foundry Street plant that was originally owned by the Brush Electric Light Company. This power plant was located on the east side of Foundry Street (now Beecher Avenue) just north of the Michigan Central Railroad track crossing.
