Also featured are the northernmost portions of Illinois, outlined in purple, and Indiana, outlined in green. The perimeter of the map indicates lines of latitude and longitude. The scale used for distance is located on the right side of the sheet, outside of the map's border.

- One navigational chart entitled, "Coast Chart No. 1, North End of Green Bay Including Northwest Shore of Lake Michigan," that was compiled and published as part of the Survey of the Northern and Northwestern Lakes (War Department, Corps of Engineers). It was prepared under the direction of Major Charles Keller and Major C. S. Riché of the Corps of Engineers. The chart is drawn at a scale of 1:120,000 and shows the northwestern end of Lake Michigan and Green Bay from Arthur Bay, Wisconsin, to Seul Choix Point on the south shore of the Upper Peninsula of Michigan. Land areas are shaded in pale yellow. Lake areas are shown in white and light blue. Distances are given in statute miles. Soundings for lake depths are given in feet and fathoms. Lines of latitude and longitude are shown in black. Lighthouses and buoys are also shown along with notes for sailing directions, dangers and water level data. The chart was originally published in 1910, but a note indicates that aids to navigation have been corrected to March 24, 1922. Two inset maps in the upper left corner of the chart show enlarged details of Cedar River, Wisconsin, and Nahma, Michigan.

- Black and white photo of the small passenger steamboats ODD FELLOW and MABLE docked in Elk Rapids, Michigan, as viewed from the foot of the dock with the bow of the ODD FELLOW on the left, and that of the MABLE on the right. Passengers stand on the dock between the boats, as well as on board both boats. A dog is among the group on the dock. "ODD FELLOW and MABLE 1905," was typewritten on a caption previously stapled to the upper left corner of the recto. "Elk Rapids, Michigan," is handwritten on the verso.

- One navigational chart entitled, "Manitou Passage, Lake Michigan." The chart was "Prepared from U. S. Surveys and first issued under the direction of Major W. L. Fisk, Corps of Engineers, U. S. Army, in 1902." It was later revised and "published under the direction of Lieut. Colonel Mason M. Patrick, Corps of Engineers, U. S. Army, in 1915." The chart was drawn at a scale of 1:30,000 and covers about 20 miles of the Manitou Passage just north of Glen Arbor, Michigan. The chart includes information such as soundings in feet, lake bottom characteristics, shoreline details, lighthouses, lines of latitude and longitude, and sailing directions. The chart was printed in black ink on white paper and was published by the U. S. Lake Survey Office. Land areas are colored pale yellow and shallow areas of the lake are colored light blue. The chart was "Issued January 12, 1916" with "Aids to navigation corrected from information received to April 16, 1920."

- Photograph of a young couple out on a speedboat on Lake Michigan. The young man is driving the boat and turning back smiling while the woman on the right side of the picture is lighting a cigarette.
