- Marriage certificate for David Robertson and Mary Heartley, both of Allendale, Michigan, issued on June 12, 1895. The ceremony was officiated by Clergyman W.P. Wilcox and witnessed by John Robertson and Rebecca Wolbrink. The certificate features a decorative illustration on its upper two thirds, featuring illustrations of men and woman, flowers, a Bible, and various Bible verses. Text on the bottom left of the certificate reads "Light of the World Marriage Certificate" and text on the bottom right of the certificate reads "Copyrighted 1894, by the W.A. Holt Pub. and M'F'G Co., Pekin, Ill."

- Marriage certificate for Chas. S. Wolfe, of Reed City, Michigan, and Effie D. Whitney, of Hersey, Michigan. Certificate issued on December 28th, 1880. A small newspaper clipping affixed to the top left of the certificate reads "At the residence of the bride's parents in Hersey, Mich., Dec. 28, 1880, by Rev. O.S. Wolfe, Mr. Charles Wolfe, of Reed City, and Miss Effie Whitney, of Hersey." The certificate features a decorative border and text. The certificate is inset with 2.5" x 3.75" photographs of Charles Wolfe and Effie Whitney, which are inserted into pockets on the back of the certificate.

- One certified copy of a marriage certificate for the marriage of Alfred Diplock and Annie Wood. The marriage took place on February 25, 1919, at St. [?] Church in the Parish of [?] Bridge in the County of Surrey, England. Witnesses were Frank Wood and George Henry Chilton. The marriage was performed and recorded by Arthur L. Whitlock, Rector. The certificate form is printed in dark green ink on slightly yellowed paper with the various sections being completed in with handwriting in black ink. A red, one penny stamp is affixed under the signature of the Rector.

Doreen talks about the stress on her marriage, the lack of control over ones job, and her naivety about factory life. She remarks about the number of college-educated people working in the plant. Debra talks about meeting Gary, becoming friends and eventually marrying. Gary joins the interview to describe some of the operations in the plant. They talk about two serious accidents and daily life and behavior.

- Dr. Robert F. Banks, associate provost and associate vice president for academic human resources, and professor emeritus of the James Madison College at Michigan State University, talks about his childhood in northern New Jersey, his education, becoming interested in labor studies, working with union training programs while in school in England, and earning a doctorate from the London School of Economics and Political Science. Banks talks about labor issues of the day, the abilities of the union members with whom he worked, and the political climate in Britain. He describes how he came to meet his wife then talks extensively about labor issues and the role he played in Britain and the U.S., discusses the general labor movement, then covers a number of researchers and authors. John Revitte explains the information he would like to obtain from Banks at future interviews including the history of the Faculty Grievance Office at MSU, Banks' association with the School of Labor and Industrial Relations at MSU, and issues around unionization at the University, and the office of Ombudsman for faculty and students. Banks is interviewed by John Revitte, MSU professor of Labor and Industrial Relations. First of six interviews.

- Annis Dimmitt describes her service in the Women's Army Corps. Dimmitt says that she enlisted at age 21 in 1943, inspired by her brother's service at Pearl Harbor during the Japanese attack. Dimmitt also talks about her work at a 24-hour teletype station, being ordered to ride out a hurricane at her post because teletype operation was deemed a critical duty, meeting her future husband on base, getting married after the war, and working for VA hospitals in Buffalo, NY, Austin, TX, Fort Wayne and Marion, IN, and Bath, NY before retiring in 1982.

She also talks about marrying a Japanese-American after the war, and moving to San Francisco. She also says that she is now very active in working with her local Survivors Association and an elder's home.
