Log Cabin is located at Palmer Park, one of Detroit's Prettiest resting spots, containing 120 acres. The Log Cabin is an exact reproduction of the home in which Senator Palmer resided many years ago. One of the features of the Log Cabin is its quaint old furniture. Handwritten message on verso, postmarked Oct 28, 1911.

- Color postcard depicting two men and a woman standing by the entrances to the Spruce Log in Palmer Park. Printed on verso: Spruce Log at Palmer Park. Detroit, Mich. The Spruce log was sent here from Washington State and is one of the interesting sights at Palmer Park. One end is hollowed out and contains writing desk and benches. The other end is an animal cage. Handwritten message on verso, postmarked Dec 4, 1912.

- Color postcard depicting people in a wooded playground in Palmer Park, with various equipment in view. Printed on verso: The Children's Playground at Palmer Park is built on land donated to the City by Ex-Senator Thomas W. Palmer, in 1893, and is situated north of the city at the extreme terminal of the Woodward Ave. car line; is one of the city's favorite breathing spots. Its center piece is a log cabin, which is an exact reproduction of the home in which Senator Palmer resided when Detroit was little more than a trading post. Handwritten message on verso, postmarked Sep 1, 1910.
