- Dinner menu from the Russell House consisting of a page of off-white paper glue within a half-folded grey cover. An engraving of a man wearing a tall hat, seated beneath a tree with a steaming plate is on the cover beside a banner with the hotel's crest and the German phrase, "Esset und trinket was ihr habt, und denkt was ihr wolt," (Eat drink what you have, and consider what you want). At the bottom of the page within, the menu suggests running productions at nearby theatres, "Lyceum Theater - 'Friends.' Temple Theater - High Class Vaudeville." The page also includes the note, "Done in the Russell House Print Shop, Tuesday, June 20, 1905."

- Dinner menu from the Russell House consisting of a page of beige paper glued within a half-folded green cover, dated Monday October 12, 1903. A blue half-tone photograph of a young girl posed doing laundry in a small basin, beside a baby carriage, is on the cover, above the caption, "Seven Days in the Life of a Very Busy Little Girl, Monday." Within one page serves as a program for the night's performance by the Russell House Orchestra under the direction of H. Jacobson. The other page lists meal options, as well as a list suggesting "Amusements Tonight." Mary Mannering is listed as performing at the Detroit Opera House. Miss Eugene Blair is at the Lyceum Theatre. "High Class Vaudeville" is available at both the Temple Theatre and the Avenue Theatre.

- Half-folded invitation to a pair of events celebrating George Washington's birthday consisting of an oration given by Rev. Henry Neill at Firemen's Hall, followed by a ball at the Russell House as a benefit for the Ladies' Mount Vernon Association. Details on the events are printed in script on the front. A handwritten message, presumably addressed to Benjamin F. H. Witherell, president of the State Historical Society, is contained within: The Historical Society are respectfully invited to join the procession at 1 1/2 o'clock PM at the Russell House. W.B. Howe, Chairman of [?] "Washington's Birthday 1859," is handwritten on the verso so that it would appear on top when the invitation was folded into sixths.

The right flag is printed with the hotel's crest, and stamped with the number "10." The bottom of the menu includes a list suggesting "Amusements Tonight." "Cardinal," featuring E.S. Willard is listed at the Detroit Opera House. The minstrel show of Primrose and Dockstader is at the Lyceum Theatre. "High Class Vaudeville" is available at the Avenue Theatre.

- Black and white photograph of a cafe within the Russell House. A dining table beneath a white table cloth is set up in the foreground to the left of center. Glassware is on the table. The table is surrounded by three chairs with leather upholstery on the seat and backrest, as well as a forth chair with a triangular seat, and a semi-circular piece that extends around the chair to serve both as the arm rests and the back rest. A china cabinet stands against the wall behind the table. A chandelier incorporating antlers as well as a carved wooden figure of a woman is hung above the table. Two other dining tables are on the right edge of the photo. The recto is signed with the initials, "F.S." "Russell House," is handwritten on the verso.
