- This Roll-Top Desk, in the collection of The Henry Ford, is part of the Action Office I Desks. The top and back are light oak tambour. The work surface is made of white plastic laminate with a dark gray vinyl front edge and three plastic drawers with wooden pulls. The ends are wood which is painted blue. The base consists of a polished aluminum frame and foot bar with metal glides.
This piece was designed by Propst, Robert and Nelson, George.

- This Storage Unit, in the collection of The Henry Ford, consists of a work surface on metal supports. The dexter side lid compartment and sinister edge are made of tawny walnut wood veneer and have two black leather sliding panels. The work surface is made of black leather with metal mesh pull out storage bin on sinister side and a wood veneer lift lid bin on dexter side. This whole unit sits on a base made of two metal "H" shaped legs.

- This Drop Front Desk, in the collection of The Henry Ford, consists of an interior that is lined with formica and has two cork-lined drawers with three metal pulls. Inside is also an electrical cord powdering a fluorescent light. The exterior is made of walnut veneer and has a lock-key on the dexter side. This desk has no legs but could be used with the Nelson Platform bench as a base.

- This Desk, in the collection of The Henry Ford, is constructed of a medium tone veneer on the front, back, sides and top and has an American walnut finish. The pretzel pedestal base is made of two legs that are covered with black leatherette. On the dexter side of the front is a file drawer and pull out work surface. The center contains three pencil drawers while the sinister side has three drawers and a pull out work surface. The drawer pulls are circular metal. Work surfaces can pull out from the back sinister and the dexter sides as well.

The literature states that these products represent a frank and forthright answer to a permanent and basic furniture need: attractive, durable cabinets and cases that are modestly priced.
Plated steel uprights support plastic-coated plywood shelves and stain resistant wood or plastic coated tops. Crossed metal struts or lacquered masonite panels insure stability. the units come in two widths, 24" and 47", and in three heights: 20" -321/2" and 59 1/2". All are 16" deep. There are numerous arrangements including open shelves, panel doors and drawers, in a variety of color combinations.
