Rome; Lamps; Glaze; Clay (unfired)

Notes:
Dark reddish-buff clay with reddish-tan to brown glaze. Short broad nozzle has rounding end, concave sides, two wick holes and two air holes at base. Rounding rim slopes outward and has three rows of raised dots. Projection on either side of lamp decorated with four grooves. Grooved rim between rim and discus. Discus decorated with palm branches in relief. Three raised dots in row at right and at back of discus. Central filling hole. Band handle which was added separately is broken off. Raised concave base on which is incised stamp.
