Page 17 contains an article, "Detroit, Michigan: Facts About a Busy City," containing information about the City of Detroit at that time, including sections about "Railroad Facilities," "Banking Capital," "Iron and Steel," "Lumber," "Michigan Car Company," "Detroit Car Wheel Company," "Detroit Pipe and Foundry Company," and "Detroit Iron Furnace Company." Page 18 contains five etchings, representing "One of the Great Industries of Detroit Illustrated.-From Sketches by C. Upham." The captions for the five etchings are as follows: 1. Michigan Car Company's Shop. 2. Detroit Car Wheel Foundry. 3. Detroit Pipe Foundry. 4. Baugh Steam Forge Company. 5. General View of the Plant of These Establishments.
