The homily for the Twenty-First Sunday after Pentecost (Dominica XXI post Pentecosten) in the First Series of Aelfric's Catholic Homilies is an allegorical reading of the parable of the wedding feast (Matthew 22:1-14), the subject of the Gospel reading for the day. Aelfric cites Gregory the Great as the authority for his interpretation.
