Description:

"Found in the back of the book used for the annual meetings in Avon. A long sheet of paper approx. 5" x 60" very evident of different handwriting and several pieces of paper glued together. Research has shown that neighbors are listed together. For this reason this list has not been alphabetized. Heading at top of paper NAMES OF THOSE LIABLE TO DO MILITARY DUTY IN AVON at the end of list: The above filed with Town Clerk May 9, 1846" The original data was transcribed by Sally Cieslik in 1987.
