Description:
Color photographic postcard depicting the dock at Boblo Island with trees, rides, and buildings in the background. Signs on the shore read "BOB-LO" and "CANADA". Printed on verso: The Great Lakes' Most Unique Dock. One of the many attractions at Bob-lo Island. This dock was made from the former Great Lakes freighter S.S. Queenston. The superstructure was removed, the hull filled, sunk and then landscaped to make a beautiful approach to Bob-Lo. It is joined to the Island by a wide canopied cement promenade. Photo by David L.
