Notes:
Light yellowish buff clay with traces of reddish slip. Nozzle broken off, was heart shaped or circular and extended part way across rim. Raised vine design on rim. Circular groove about discus. Gladiator is standing in center of discus, head turned left, wears helmet and greaves, small square shield on left arm, curved dagger in right hand. Back and handle broken off. Base ring set off by deep grooves. Like 486, A.H. 3235 L.C. 2L, but clay is a little finer and details of figure and rim design are clearer Bases differ.
