Wide Brimmed Straw Cloche with Satin Ribbon Hat Band, 1923

Description:: Wide brimmed cloche of natural colored straw. Underside of brim is of loosely woven straw. The hat band is of off-white quilted silk satin ribbon. This hat was owned by Daniel Dodge (1917 – 1938), son of John Francis Dodge (October 25, 1864 – January 14, 1920), the co-founder of the Dodge Motor Car Company in Detroit, Michigan.
