Zimbabwean women in co-operatives

Description:: This paper presents the results of a study on the participation of women and of sexual equality in participation in four producer co-operatives in Zimbabwe, and contextualises the results in terms of women in other socialist countries and the current Zimbabwean government policy on women and co-operatives. Particular areas which are seen as obstacles to the participation of women are identified and recommendations made which may address these obstacles and lead to the increasing participation of women in the future.
