Sepia-toned panoramic group portrait photo of the Detroit Police Department's Training School Class of January 1921. Seventy-six men pose in two rows, the front group on their knees, before the side of a large stone police station. Most men wear jackets and ties, aside from the uniformed police officer, presumably an instructor, in the back center. An inserted portrait of another uniformed officer is above the center of the image. Two addition men pose in the window of the building behind them. The caption below reads, "Detroit Police Department's Training School Class of Jan. 1921, Inspt. Fred Raymond in charge. Lt. Frost and Stg. Snowdon Instructors."
