The view looks northeastward along the existing railroad tracks with caissons #3 and #4 shown (labeled) in the center foreground. A workman is standing to the left of caisson #4. A construction crane and temporary concrete mixing plant can be seen to the left of the railroad tracks. Also, temporary construction buildings, construction materials, and construction debris can be seen on both sides of the tracks. Several factory buildings are visible in the left background and a large railroad yard can be seen in the right background area.
