1948 photograph of Preston Tucker's Tucker "Torpedo", with unidentified model and admirers, in front of the Chicago plant that produced approximately 50 automobiles between 1947 and 1949 when Tucker was tried (and acquitted) for SEC violations, which ultimately cost him the plant and the business.
