At a Session of the Board of Aldermen of the City of Detroit, Michigan

- One certificate. The certificate is printed in black ink on heavy paper and was issued as a resolution by the Board of Aldermen of the City of Detroit to commemorate the death of "Thomas A. Hendricks" who was "from the front rank of prominent men of this generation." The number, "104," is shown at the top of the certificate. In the lower right corner, the certificate has been dated December 5, 1885, and signed by "Alex. A. Langer, City Clerk." An embossed, gold-colored seal with ribbon has been affixed to the certificate in the lower left corner.
