City of Lansing Slides

Description:

Approximately 5,000 slides, likely from the Planning Division at the City of Lansing. No index or any other descriptive information was included with these slides; the only identifying information comes from viewing the slides and sometimes text written on the slide frames. This collection is broken into two series: Series 1: Subject Slides. Approximately 4,600 slides divided into the same 28 subject categories used in the Local History General Photograph Collection (not all subjects represented). Series 2: Numbered Slides. Approximately 500 slides numbered consecutively from 2144 to 2215. These slides depict various street scenes, homes, etc. but are only identified by their number.
