The view shows the aggregate hopper being loaded by a construction crane and bucket that can be seen at the right side of the photo. Two workmen are standing near the concrete mixer on the left side of the plant. The concrete mixer is positioned in order to pour the finished mixture into a second construction crane bucket that will carry the concrete to its placement location. Railroad tracks and construction materials can be seen in the foreground and a factory building can be seen in the right background. The banks of the Rouge River can be seen in the left background area of the photo.
