Photograph (and 1 copy). Sepia-toned photo showing a large group of workmen at Camp Geddes. The view shows a group of more than 50 workmen who are standing or seated in front of a 1-story wood frame building. A printed title along the bottom of the photo shows "Camp Geddes - Mess Hall and the Workers" with the number and the date, "M-4782, 9-18-16." Possibly, this photo was taken near the Geddes hydroelectric power plant on the Huron River near Ann Arbor. Detroit Edison began purchasing water rights and property for dam construction on the Huron River in 1905.
