Description:
One plan sheet entitled "Section of the F&PM [Flint & Pere Marquette] R.R. Steamers." The drawing consists of black ink on linen and shows a half cross-section view with dimensions for the proposed wooden-hulled steamships. Blue ink has been used to show the water surface. The plan was prepared at a scale of 1/2 inch = 1 foot by the Detroit Dry Dock Company. (Steamer numbers 59 and 60 were the Detroit Dry Dock hull numbers for the passenger steamships that were known as F.&P.M. No. 1 and F.&P.M. No. 2, respectively.)
