Color poster for the Ringling Bros and Barnum & Bailey Combined Shows at the Grand River Avenue Show Grounds, Monday July 17 and Tuesday July 18, 1922. Text at the top of the poster indicates that location and dates of the performances. The center and bottom portions of the poster feature several illustrations of an adult hippopotamus and a newborn hippopotamus. The main illustration depicts the hippopotami with several onlookers. A tiger in a cage can also be seen in the background. Text at the top of the illustration indicates the name of the circus.
