Herman Miller Chest

Description:
This Chest of Drawers, in the collection of The Henry Ford, consists of a castano and sequoia burl veneered exterior surface across the front two doors. At the center is an inlay that forms three horizontal lines. The interior contains six drawers with brush chrome pulls. On the back is the inscription '3192/43'. This piece is the same version that was designed for the 1933 Chicago World's Fair and used in "Design for Living House".
