Michigan State University Distinguished Professor Leonard M. Fleck discusses issues raised in his recent book, "Just caring : health care rationing and democratic deliberation". Fleck says that advances in technology have created unlimited health care needs, which society does not have the resources to meet. Health care must inevitably be rationed, he says and citizens must face the moral and political challenges this presents.
