Subseries Forty One: West Junior High

Description:

Located at 500 Lenawee Street West. It was named due to its original location on the west side of the city. The land was purchased in 1881 with the first part of the building constructed in 1920. It also opened that year. Additions were made in 1922 and 1929. In 1954 conversions were made to allow for special education.
