Color postcard depicting the PUT-IN-BAY in open water and its decks filled with people. Printed on verso: Steamer Put-in-Bay. The new steamer "Put-in-Bay" of the Ashley & Dustin Steamer Line is called the "New Flyer of the Lakes." This boat has six decks, is 240 feet long, 60 feet wide, has 7,000 square feet of dancing space, three thousand horse power triple expansion engines and a carrying capacity of 4,000 people. On the observation deck are a large number of ocean steamer chairs and the shade deck is fitted out with private parlors. The "Put-in-Bay" represents the newest development in lake excursion steamers. Handwritten message on verso, postmarked Feb 12, 1913.
