Rome; Lamps; Clay (unfired); Slip

Notes:
Hard deep buff micaceous clay with polished mottled red dark brown slip. End of nozzle broken. Broad channel leads to discus. Volute on either shoulder. Incised palm branches on flat rim. On discus, animal (lion?) proceeding toward handle. turns his head back. One of two filling holes has destroyed part of his head. Solid handle has groove from discus part way to top. Concave base, Grooved ridge extends from base to base of handle. Nozzle end blackened.
