- One copyright registration, "No. 6368 I," dated May 25, 1878, issued by the "Library of Congress, Copyright Office, Washington." The registration form is printed in black text on white paper and includes blank lines that have been completed in handwritten black ink text. It indicates that a copyright was issued to the Richmond & Backus Company of Detroit for a "Book or Form" which is described in more specific detail in handwritten text. The registration form was signed in the lower right corner by "A. R. [Ainsworth Rand] Spofford, Librarian of Congress." An oval-shaped embossed seal of the Copyright Office is located in the upper left corner of the form.

- One tax receipt, dated July, 1865, issued by the Receiver's Office in Detroit. It was printed in black text on white paper and indicated that Richmond & Backus Company paid $179.21 for various city taxes on "Merchandise." The receipt, No. 552, was signed by "T.R. Cumings, Receiver of Taxes."

- Halftone print of a photograph of a woman modeling a dark colored coat with a fur collar, cuffs, and trim near the bottom, with a broad-brimmed hat gloves, heels, and spats. She stands with her back toward the right of the camera. The background consists of a faint image of a potted plant on a pedestal in front of wall paneling and a sconce. The image was sent by the J.L. Hudson Company to Mrs. William H. Johnston of 17 West Bethune Avenue, Detroit as part of a packet of six photos showcasing fashions for the fall of 1918.
