Photograph. A mounted, glossy photographic print of the crew of the private fire department of Parke, Davis, and Company. Fifty eight firefighters pose in six rows as well as on ladders at each end. Hooks, axes, fire extinguishers, and plenty of hose are visible among the crowd. A sign suspended above reads, "Parke, Davis & Co." Photo is mounted on a green cardstock matting. Handwriting on verso reads, "1895-1900, Standing L-R 1st row Dr. John M. Francis; Leon Fink, Fire Chief." "WM. H. Hart, Photographer, 361 Meldrum Avenue, Detroit, Mich." also printed on verso.
