John and Bertha Krieger and their son Harold and his wife Ruby farmed this land, where they raised cattle among other things. The majority of the material is tax receipts on the property. A small account ledger used by John T. Krieger, as well as a diary and a receipt book are in the collection. Also included are records of incorporation and early programs from the Delta Free Fair, founded by Harold Krieger and others, and information about a cooperative effort between Harold Krieger and the Michigan State College on calf breeding.
