- One plan sheet entitled, "Umbrella for Naomi." The drawing consists of black ink on linen and shows a profile view and half-section plan view of a rectangular metal umbrella that was to be placed at the base of the smokestack of the SS Naomi. The title block in the lower right corner shows that the drawing was prepared by the "Manitowoc Dry Dock Company." The plan number is shown as "M99."

- Telegram from the Western Union Telegraph Company, Port Huron, dated September 22, 1886, to A. W. Moffatt, Vessel Agent, Detroit, Mich. The telegram form is printed in black text on yellowed paper and has a message that is handwritten in ink that reads "Can you load Church [barge]- Coal - Buffalo or Ohio ports to St. Clair River. Answer quick."

- A staple-bound contract form between the Ford Motor Company, represented by the company's vice president F.J. Klingensmith, and the U.S. Navy establishing the terms for the construction of 100 patrol boats, the Eagle Boats, dated March 4, 1917. To Ms. Kimdsen -A.L.," is handwritten and "copy" is typewritten at the top, the blanks for the names and dates on the first page have been filled out, and on the seventh page, names have been typewritten where each party would have signed, including Edsel B. Ford, Klingensmith, and Graham Egerton as representative of Acting Secretary of the Navy, F.D. Roosevelt.

- One drawing entitled "Survey of Northern and Northwestern Lakes, Design of Intersection Protractor." Notes beneath the title indicate that the protractor was "Made under the direction of Major W. L. Fisk, Corps of Engineers, U.S.A., and E. E. Haskell, Prin. Asst. Engineer, by Murray Blanchard, Junior Engineer." The plan is drawn in red and black ink on linen and is dated April, 1904. The drawing was prepared at full scale and shows plan, profile, and cross-section views for the design of a protractor which was used for drawing lake survey charts. Additional notes at the bottom of the title block give the following specifications: "Make bar of steel, graduated arcs of German silver, and other parts of brass. Protractor arms are nickel plated. Graduate protractors to 1/2 degree and verniers to 1 minute."

- Staple-bound report, dated November 20, 1916, from the Navy Department, Bureau of Construction and Repair, containing two articles, "Air Test of Compartments," and "Extracts from Report of Air Tests of Compartments and Zones of Water-Ejecting System on the U.S.S. OKLAHOMA," both written J.G. Tawresey of the U.S. Navy. A stamp on the cover indicates that the report was receives by the Ford Motor Company's Office of the Superintending Constructor for the U.S. Navy on February 27, 1919, in preparation for the construction of the Ford Eagle Boats later that year. "Noted R.K.," is handwritten in pencil on the upper left corner of the first page.

- "Number 8, Dunbar & Sullivan Dredging Co. First Mortgage, 5 Per Cent, $5000 Registered Gold Bond" (8 of 30). The bond is printed in printed in red, green, and black ink on white paper that is watermarked "Broun-Green Beaver Bond." It has a decorative engraved green border with engraved images at the top that depict Lady Liberty and other figures that represent American industry and a bountiful harvest. Black, Old-English style text shows the company name, "Dunbar & Sullivan Dredging Co." and lists the terms of the bond issuance and repayment. The bond has been signed by "Harris T. Dunbar, President," and "Frederick C. Slee, Secretary," and is dated March 15, 1904. The 20-year bonds were due for repayment on March 15, 1924. A round, embossed company seal is located near the lower left corner of the bond. The verso contains blank spaces which have handwritten text that show the date and name in whom the bond was registered along with the signature of the company Treasurer. Other handwritten text and notes showed subsequent bond ownership reassignments with signatures.

- Half fold brochure listing 1922 Detroit and Cleveland Navigation Company Steamer Schedules. Cover depicts the routes of the Cleveland Division and the Buffalo Division on a map of Lake Erie. Two frogs and a buffalo are pictured below. Interior lists times for both divisions, fare, and information about baggage, accommodations, reservations and the company.

- One drawing entitled, "No. 4 'Providence' Steam Capstan Windlass." The drawing (No. 1890) consists of black ink on linen and shows details of the mechanical workings of a windlass. Pencil shading has been used to show wooden deck areas in gray. Notes in the title block show "8"+8" Engines - All iron bitts" and "Proposed for the U. S. Revenue Steamer, 'Levi Woodbury'." The plan was prepared at a scale of 1 1/2 inches = 1 foot by the "American Ship Windlass Co., Providence, R.I." and is dated June 10, 1891.
