Photo taken before US-12 was paved in 1926. Note: Michigan Avenue (US-12) was known as M-23 from 1917-1926, then Michigan Avenue through Saline became part of the U.S. Highway System, and was named US-112 from 1926-1962, and in 1962 it became US-12.
