- In 1907 Zilpha Davenport knew of a little building behind the bank she could lease to the library. Somehow that "lease" turned into a deed on closer look, and the library had a home of its own. In 1918 Mrs. Davenport built a new library on N. Ann Arbor St.

- The Risdon-owned house at 101 South Lewis and Michigan Avenue. The livery behind the house was moved to the Depot Museum area in 1991. Thought to be the oldest house in Saline. Ted Stimpson owned this house for many years.
