- This illustrated song book of the German Luftwaffe from the era of World War II is an example of the musical propaganda of the National Socialist Party. This work includes words and music for 25 songs, composed by Hans Felix Husadel. Illustrated with drawings and photographs by Fritz Koch-Gotha, and edited by Carl Clewing. Historians of music have noted that "Nazi" music represented an attempt to identify authentically German music to create a national cultural history (see Potter, Pamela M., "What is "Nazi Music"? The Music Quarterly, vol. 88, No. 3 (Autumn 2005), pp. 428-455). This work is discussed in Jung, Michael. Liederbücher im Nationalsozialismus: Dokumente. Vol. 2. Johann-Wolfgang-Goethe-Universität zu Frankfurt am Main, 1989. This is a part of Western Michigan University's World War II Propaganda digitized collections. and Ein Lied erschall' dem Fliegergeist / Worte, Dr. K. Sartori ; Musik, H.F. - Election campaign leaflet in support of the SPD in the 1932 Reichstag elections. It challenges the words of Hitler, "In 1918 the SPD took over a super Reich," by explaining the massive debt that the Treaty of Versailles had left Germany. Therefore, the SPD inherited a suffering Germany, crippled by the reparations they owed to the Allied powers. It was in no way their fault that the Weimar Republic had suffered to a great extent.
