- Sheer navy blue print crepe dress with white stylized flowers in an all-over pattern. Square neckline with 2.5 inch wide shoulder straps.Self-fabric bows at left neckline and left hip. Deep V-neck in back. Attached white silk slip. Clothing label: MAINBOCHER INC. This garment was owned by Elizabeth Parke Firestone, daughter of Mr. Harvey Firestone of Detroit, Michigan.Mainbocher was one of Mrs. Firestone's favorite designers, according to her daughter, Mrs. William C. Ford. This is one of only two Mainbocher dresses in the collection.

- Short evening dress with jacket. Off-white silk satin brocade with leaf patterns and mauve, dark blue and light blue stripes with metallic silver and gold threads. Strapless bodice with double diagonal tuck. Short, full skirt softly pleated into waistband, creating fullness at hips. First petticoat is double layer of nylon tulle with rows of horsehair for stiffening; two additional nylon tulle petticoats underneath. Matching jacket with short sleeves and open front, closing with band under bust. Off-white taffeta lining. Clothing label: MAINBOCHER INC.
