Dr. Naff speaks with Selma B. in Fort Wayne, Indiana; Charles B. in Fort Wayne, Indiana; Alexander M. in Grand Rapids, Michigan; and Nazha H. in Detroit, Michigan. Interviews are largely in English with some Arabic., Selma B. speaks about variations in cooking methods, baptismal ceremonies, and superstitions surrouning menstruating women. Charles B. sings two songs, the folk song Barhoom ya Barhoom and a song about Charles Lindbergh. Alexander M. talks about his arrival in the U.S., the Shrine to the Virgin at Saidnayah, Syria, and the legend of St. Nicholas. Nazha H. talks about courtesy sayings.
